Performance Venue: Newcastle Castle
'Bird with Boy' is a beautiful piece of theatrical dance, uniquely created for the atmospheric surroundings of Newcastle Castle. Featuring boys, birds and snow, Bird with Boy is about things that end before they should. The audience is led into exquisitely designed rooms where they encounter dance, live music and fragments of song offering an intimate and haunting experience. This award-winning show is created by Junk Ensemble and Jo Timmins and performed by three dancers, two musicians and six local boys. #BirdwithBoy
