Expanding Horizons Programme September 2016 – July 2017
Call for Artists.
Dance City are looking for dance artists/makers based in the North East to take part in the second year of their Expanding Horizons professional development programme for 2016/17.
Expanding Horizons is a bespoke approach to supporting the professional development of dance artist/makers in the North East. It aims to create leaders within the dance sector, supporting emerging artists ready to move to the next level of their professional career.
The programme runs from September 2016 – July 2017 and is delivered as a mixture of seminars, lectures and practical sessions covering three modules. These are Leadership & Management, Entrepreneurship and Creative Labs.
Each participant will develop their own project idea during the course of the programme.
The programme is open to 10 participants. There is a small bursary available for each participant. Participants must be able to attend all sessions throughout the year and be willing to sign a contract on that basis.
