Alice – The lost chapter will be Joelene English Dance Theatres impression of the conceptualisation of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson best known as Lewis Carroll and his enchantment with obscure imagination.
Who was Alice? Why her? Are the characters a figment of her imagination or are they personas that live within Alice? (Dissociative Identity Disorder.) These are the questions that will be addressed within the studio.

What transpires to the body when it is inhabited by strangers?

How can you be found if you do not know that you are lost?

What do you execute when you are not you?

Alternative questions that will unravel within the Research and Development phase. Multiple personalities will be trapped occupying one body, one mind, each with separate memories, mannerisms and emotional states taking turns to control the body via an array of possibilities, A work that will be devised focusing on those multiple personality traits, what triggers each embodied character? Sound, image, props or silence. A story that will go in reverse in order to understand why.
