Foreign Bodies

Using Latin, Hip Hop & Contemporary dance theatre/culture, Foreign Bodies will explore what it is to be a ‘citizen of the world’, challenging notions of belonging, home & identity. Foreign Bodies will use dance to tell five fe/male dancers from a diverse background story, inviting the audience to explore themes around migration, immigration, body identity, trafficking & race.

Cultural dances & customs will include the folkloric dances of the individual dancers & her own unique movement vocabulary which includes Afro Cuban, breaking & contemporary.
