Dance City is offering a one-off amazing experience aimed at boys* who are aged 10-16. A dance workshop led by teachers from the Dance City Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) to give participants an insight into the wonderful world of dance and some of the training involved in becoming a first-class performer.


Place: Dance City Newcastle, Temple Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 4BR

Cost: FREE. Places are limited – early booking is essential

Who: We welcome participants who are both beginners and those with experience. The day is about sharing practice and ideas with experienced dance teachers who will be delivering a mixture of dance styles.

Dance City’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) programme is part of the Government’s Music and Dance Scheme and National CAT Network, a unique programme for aspirational and dedicated young people.

As part of the workshop, we invite dancers with their parents/carers to a question and answer session led by the CAT admin team.
