Vogue Fem is an expression of femininity and originates from the Old Way style by trans women of colour in the late 80s and 90s. In this workshop, we will go through the 5 elements of Vogue Fem - Hands Performance, Catwalk, Duckwalk, Floor Performance, and Spins and Dips - as well as the history of this category in ballroom and understanding the essence of Vogue Fem performance.

Who's the artist?
Jugu Mugler Telfar
Pronouns: he/him/they/them

London’s own Jugu Mugler Telfar has made a name for himself as one of the runway divas in the London ballroom scene. Through consistent participation at the functions held in the city, Jugu has graced the scene and made memorable moments.

They have helped usher in the next generation of European Runway divas and will continue to share knowledge from his experiences and advice received from international legendary runway divas.

What should you wear?

Wear anything comfortable that allows for movement and makes you feel pretty. Heels are NOT to be worn in this studio.
