Dance City is the Regional dance agency for the North East and is committed to providing continued professional development opportunities for teachers and practitioners to increase confidence, knowledge and understanding of the delivery of dance in many contexts.

‘An Introduction into Primary Dance’ is course will be perfect for Primary teachers who teach in school. This course is designed to provide primary school teachers and teaching assistants with some key tools to help deliver imaginative and progressive dance sessions. The course will develop your dance skills and increase your confidence in teaching dance. Taking place on
Tuesday 16th January 4:00-6.00pm in Studio 2 at Dance City, we look forward to welcoming schools from the North East and beyond!

At the end of the course you will have a refreshed and improved knowledge of dance. Your confidence will increase and you will know how to plan and delivery high quality dance lesson! You will also be loaded with new ideas for lesson planning and schemes of work linking to the curriculum.

Cost is £50 per school this allows x1 teacher/teaching assistant to access the course.
