The Pulse sub-regional platform took place in 6 venues across the North East in March.

These events give young people aged between 11-19 years (and up to 25 for people with additional needs) the opportunity to celebrate their creative talents and perform in a professional venue.  A total of 49 groups were involved with 548 dancers getting moving.  Two groups were selected from each venue to take the next steps and perform at Dance City’s Regional Pulse platform where a final two groups were selected to represent the North East at a National U.Dance Festival in Birmingham in July.
