Join Alexandrina Hemsley and her company Yewande 103 for a discussion about embodiment, creativity, repair and transformation. Abiola Onabule, Rūta Irbīte and Bianca Wilson will each share their current practices and how they intersect and amplify the themes of Hemsley’s new work, Many Lifetimes.

Expect topics to include:

building choreographic languages around the themes of loss and change
the reclamation of Black folk tradition
the intergenerational cycles present in the scenography and costume of this signature live performance
