We are incredibly proud to announce that National Youth Dance Company’s production of Tarantiseismic features our very own Alex Thirkle who is at our Centre for Advanced Training.

Alex is 16 and hails from Sunderland, where he attends Castle View Enterprise Academy, although in September he will be leaving to join our BTEC.

Alex was spotted by a CAT talent scout and successfully auditioned in June 2014, officially joining the CAT in September 2014. He went on to successfully audition for NYDC last year and will be performing with them here on Saturday 1 July with their new piece, Tarantiseismic, choreographed by Damien Jalet.
