Dance City has created a free series of video Dance Along tasters for young people aged 5 – 16.

Our Dance Along tasters are 15-20 minutes long and are a chance for schools and young people to meet the Dance City team, have fun and get moving.

We have something for everyone and will be releasing a new FREE video every Thursday on our (link) YouTube channel. Subscribe to the channel to be notified of new videos and follow the playlist (link) Dance Along.

The Dance Alongs include:

Dino Dance (Primary KS1/2) and Musical Theatre (Secondary KS3/4)

Street Dance (Primary KS1/2) and Contemporary Technique (Secondary KS3/4)

Musical Theatre (Primary KS1/2)and Contemporary Phrase (Secondary KS3/4)

India Images (Primary KS1/2) and Contemporary Floorwork (Secondary KS3/4)

Egyptian Shapes (Primary KS1/2) and Indian Images (Secondary KS3/4)

Our Dance Engagement team leading the tasters have a wealth of experience teaching dance in schools and community settings.

Dance City understands that remote learning can be a challenge for schools and parents, and we wanted to offer something to support teachers and ensure that young people are given the chance to dance.
