Class description: A contemporary dance class designed for adults with a deep experience and knowledge in contemporary dance. This class features an energetic conditioning warmup, followed by a variety of fundamental contemporary technique exercises and practices that are developed weekly tailored to suit the class. It concludes with a creative extended movement phrase that is developed termly. The movement phrase you'll learn reinforces technical principles and emphasizes creative movement dynamics and musicality.
This is a fun and lively weekly class that enables dancers to let off steam, meet people and embrace the joy of movement, as well as learning new routines and movements lead by an industry professional
Who is it for? Adults with an advanced understanding of Contemporary Dance.
Teacher: Cora-Jay Williams.
Cora-Jay is a working professional dance artist, based in the North-East. Her experiences are in performing and touring with various dance theatre companies around the UK and teaching/choreographing in professional and community settings.
