Are you male aged between 10-25 and want to perform with one of the world’s leading dance-theatre companies? Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures bring a once in a lifetime opportunity to boys and young men all over the North East.
Dance City are offering you the opportunity to be part of New Adventures and Re:Bourne’s production of Lord of the Flies at Theatre Royal.
FREE Workshops are happening across the North East in July 2014, all workshops at Dance City are now fully booked. No previous dance experience is required.

To be considered for auditions you must attend a workshop.
Around 120 boys and young men will be selected from the workshops to audition for up to 24 places in the final performance at Newcastle Theatre Royal from 5-9 November.
All participants will need to bring a passport photo along on the day and wear comfortable clothes to move in.

Boys Dance Summer School (age 11-17)

Five full days of dance, learning movement from Lord of the Flies. Workshops led by a dancer from New Adventures and the North East Dance Ambassadors for New Adventures and Re:Bourne’s production of Lord of the Flies.
