Jingle and jive at our Winter Dance Camp! Dance City will be offering full days of festive fun on the dancefloor for primary school children in the Christmas holidays. Children will spend the day taking part in Christmassy dance workshops in the studios, led by pro dancers Pagan Hunt and Summer Rutter. Expect energetic choreography and creativity with pop, lyrical, modern and jazz steps set to a soundtrack of seasonal tunes.
Whether your child already dances or is a complete beginner all they need is passion and enthusiasm to get moving and have fun. This event is ideal for getting in the party spirit and showing off your own moves! There will be plenty of breaks to catch your breath.
Tuesday Camp includes a free ticket to the fun-filled family show ‘How Long is a Piece of String’ in the Dance City Theatre, by Fully Booked Theatre Company. Teachers and staff will supervise the children during the show. The show is sandwiched between two Christmassy dance workshops in the studios, led by pro dancers Pagan Hunt and Summer Rutter. Expect games, choreography and creativity with pop, lyrical, modern and jazz steps set to a soundtrack of seasonal tunes.
Lunches: children can attend with a packed lunch, or can pre-order lunch in advance from the Dance City Café for an additional £5.50. Choose between tomato pasta, chicken bites and chips, or sausage sandwich (meat/vegetarian) and chips, plus juice, ice cream and a piece of fruit. Let us know any special dietary requirements.
Tuck Shop: there will be a tuck shop trolley available in mid morning break, where children can buy snacks.
