One-time Royal Ballet School prodigy turned choreographer Viv Wood is directing and performing The Butterfly Effect, a new piece commissioned by Dance City which will form part of the Holy Island Festival programme with two performances taking place at St. Mary’s Church, Holy Island this June.
In 2013 Viv choreographed and performed Exile at Dance City, St. Mary’s Heritage Centre in Gateshead, Durham Cathedral and St. Mary’s Church, Holy Island to celebrate the Lindisfarne Gospels festival. She also directed All The Things You Said which Compagnie T’dU presented at Dance City and Holy Island last year.
