Dance City Academy

 

The Dance City Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) delivers two main strands of dance activity for young people between 8-18 years of age.

Our Foundation Training Programme (FTP) is the outreach arm of the CAT. The programme provides dance training to gifted and talented young people between 8-13 years of age at satellite hubs around the North East region. These FTP’s are managed in partnership with local authorities, schools/school sports coordinators, dance agencies and many others.

Our Advanced Training Programme (ATP) is run in partnership with the Department for Children, Schools and Families to provide a high level training for extremely talented young dancers between 12-17 years of age. Currently all classes take place here at Dance City in Newcastle as well as in Darlington.
